Dave Strohfeldt, Vice-President

With a career spanning over 40 years, I have worked in nearly every facet of the printing industry. My current focus is overseeing quality control and day-to-day operations at our plant. I love what I do and Andy and I are proud of the company we have developed here at GAS.

Curtis Haug, Sales Manager

Curtiss Haug has been at the Graphic Arts Studio for 12 years. The first six years of his tenure were as plant manager with the last six in the position of sales manager. Bringing 30 years total print experience to the table allows Curtiss to work very closely with our sales people and clients to engineer the best possible solutions to your printing needs. Fishing, golfing, snowmobiling and relaxing on a lake keep him sane throughout the year.

Mike Dillon, Sales

Mike has worked in the Printing / Graphic Arts industry for the past 25 years and a proud member of the GAS Sales and Marketing team since 1996. Raised a a southside Cub's fan, Mike has seen the light and now cheers for the Sox along with the Bulls, Hawks, and Bears. Hobbies include drawing, sculpting and coaching High School rugby in Chicago.

John Blackwell, Sales

John started in the trade in 1978 as a cameraman shooting b/w Halftones and color separations for Spectralith Inc. Eight years later, he’s running the company as the plant manager working with the sales force and customers. John started in sales eight years ago and joined the GAS team 5 years ago. He enjoys working with customers in engineering a project, including working the GAS color magic and press ok’s.

Eric Stone, Sales

After college and 4 ½ years in the United States Air Force, Eric began a 36 year career in the printing industry. Eric’s hobbies include time with his family, golf, tennis and hiking. He has been married for 39 years and has one adult son. He is excited about being a new member of the sales team at The Graphic Arts Studio, starting in April.

Allan McLeod-Smith, Sales

Allan McLeod-Smith and his father, Ian, founded McLeod-Smith Graphics, Inc., a commercial printer, prior to joining GAS. They bring extensive printing experience to GAS’s depth of capability to provide their clients with superior service and quality. Allan graduated from Concordia University with a degree in business management and has also served as a captain in the United States Army.

Ian McLeod-Smith, Sales

Ian McLeod-Smith has been involved in the printing trade for nearly 50 years. Together with his son Allan, he founded McLeod-Smith Graphics, Inc., a commercial printer. Ian also owned National Printing Company. He began his career as a lithographer at Lithocolor Press, in 1959. Both father and son sincerely believe that consistency in service and excellent quality are vital components in building long-term partnerships with their clients.

Larry Land, Sales

Larry has worked in the Graphic Arts/Printing business for 28 years. He has worked in every facet of the trade working as a proofer, plate maker, camera man, scanner operator and the last 20 years in sales.

He has been with Graphic Arts Studio for 9 years and is proud to be part of The Graphic Arts Team.

Ron Mocerino, Sales

Ron has worked in the Graphic Arts/Printing Business for over 28 years. He started in the trade as a proofer/platemaker and worked his way up to foreman. Ron has spent the last 21 years in sales. He says it doesn't seem like you are going to work when you have a great company behind you! Ron enjoys spending his time off with family and friends.

Ron Urban, Sales

Ron brings 25 years of experience to GAS. With a background in Manufacturing, QC, Estimating, Customer Service and Sales. Ron prides himself on being able to help his clients receive the best possible product in the most efficient and economical way.

Mike Fowles, Estimator

Mike is a Navy veteran, Harper College graduate, and has worked in printing/graphics since 1977. His hobbies include soccer, basketball, softball, hunting/fishing, golf…anything outdoors. Married 35 years and has two beautiful daughters. He has been with Graphic Arts Studio for 20 years. Favorite movie – any by John Wayne. Favorite team – The Graphic Arts Studio.

Ron Beverly, Customer Service

Ron has worked in the printing industry for 37 years, the last 12 years at Graphic Arts Studio. He has worked in all departments throughout his career, press, bindery, prepress, and customer service. Currently he is the Production / Plant Manager of the finest printing company in the industry. “Only the best is good enough.”

Michele Jessup, Customer Service

Michele is new to our GAS Team. Her experience over the past 12 years has come from music/media/beverage packaging, as well as the finishing industry. Michele has worked as a Project Manager and also in sales.

Andrew Macchia, Customer Service

In the existence of GAS’s 25 years, Andrew has been around for 20 of those years. Working from bindery through prepress and now with 6 years experience in cust. service/production, Andrew has acquired the knowledge and skills it takes to be a part of the commercial print industries top service providers. With GAS striving to satisfy every need of their customers, he is proud to be a member of the GAS family.

Ryan Whitmore, Customer Service

Ryan has worked for the Graphic Arts Studio for 12 years while earning his bachelors degree in informational technology, with an emphasis in computer graphics at Arizona State University. He has been a Customer Service Rep. for 8 years & believes that GAS has one of the best crews in the industry. Go Cubs!
